These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of dailygametree.com and the games hosted on it. By visiting or playing on the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Who We Are

DailyGameTree is operated by an individual based in the United Kingdom. It isn't operated by a registered company. You can reach us at dailygametree@gmail.com. In these Terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to the operator of dailygametree.com.

2. The Service

DailyGameTree provides free, browser-based daily puzzle games. Each game typically presents a new puzzle once per day (resetting at midnight UTC unless a game says otherwise). We may add, remove, or change games, puzzles, features, or content at any time, without notice, and we don't guarantee that any particular game, puzzle history, or feature will remain available indefinitely.

3. Eligibility

DailyGameTree is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. If you are under the age of 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use the site. By using the site, you confirm that you meet these requirements or are using the site with appropriate permission.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to solve puzzles, scrape content, or interact with the site in ways a normal human visitor wouldn't;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site, its infrastructure, or other users' data;
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the site or the services it depends on;
  • Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with advertising shown on the site;
  • Copy, scrape, reproduce, or redistribute the site's puzzles, code, text, or other content except as allowed under Section 5; or
  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation.

5. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content on this site — including game code, puzzle designs and answers, puzzle datasets, text, graphics, logos, and the names "DailyGameTree", "67dle", and "Yeardle" — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights are reserved. You may play the games and view the site for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment, but you may not otherwise copy, modify, distribute, publicly perform, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of the site's content without our prior written permission.

6. Advertising and Third-Party Content

The site displays advertisements, including through Google AdSense and other advertising partners, to help support the cost of running it for free. Ads may be personalized based on your browsing activity where you've given consent to that, or non-personalized otherwise — see our Privacy Policy for how that choice works and how advertising partners may use data. We don't control the specific content of third-party ads, and any transaction or interaction you have with an advertiser is solely between you and that advertiser.

7. No Warranty

The site and games are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, timely, or error-free. We don't warrant that puzzles will always be solvable-as-intended, bug-free, or available at any particular time, though we'll do our best.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the site, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud), and nothing here affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer that can't be waived under the law of your country of residence.

9. Changes to the Service or These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, and we'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continuing to use the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. We may also change, suspend, or discontinue the site or any part of it at any time, without liability to you.

10. Termination

We may restrict or terminate your access to the site at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you've violated these Terms or used the site in a way that could harm us, other visitors, or the site itself.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of the country in which you live. Since visitors access this site from all over the world, nothing here is intended to override protections you're entitled to under your own local law.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will remain in full effect, and the unenforceable provision will be replaced with one that most closely reflects its original intent.
